Virtual host in jboss

October 21, 2008

You need to host name in server.xml in jboss (jbossweb-tomcat55.war)

<Host name=”loopback”
autoDeploy=”false” deployOnStartup=”false” deployXML=”false”>
<Alias>loopback.wireless.com</Alias>
<Alias>wireless.com</Alias>
<Alias>test.amazing.com</Alias>
<Valve className=”org.apache.catalina.valves.AccessLogValve”
prefix=”loopback-120-” suffix=”.log”
pattern=”common” directory=”${jboss.server.home.dir}/log”/>
</Host>

And in jboss-web.xml you need to add the virtual host.

<virtual-host>localhost</virtual-host>
<virtual-host>loopback</virtual-host>

The file jboss-web.xml is at the level of web.xml and is in the application war.
