loop execution on single table and more than 1 user accessing and causing locks.

NEVER use synchronized + static in java web apps – its a crime.

To check the locks: Use the query:

select ORACLE_USERNAME, OS_USER_NAME,OBJECT_NAME,SESSION_ID
from v$locked_object l, dba_objects d
where l.object_id = d.object_id ;

select distinct a.OBJECT_NAME, c.username, c.LOGON_TIME, c.sid
from dba_objects a, v$locked_object b, v$session c
where a.OBJECT_ID=b.OBJECT_ID
and a.OWNER =’USER_NAME’
and b.SESSION_ID = c.sid
order by c.LOGON_TIME ;
