Apache web server administration

January 6, 2010
tags:

To know the static pages available for administration/monitoring in apache web server itself go to the folder conf/extra.

There you will see a set of files: Each file has location header – which gives the relative path of the static page.
Note that the needed modules for that page are also mentioned.

So we have:

  • server-status
  • server-info
  • jk-status (mod jk monitoring)

You can do a trial load test on your Aws by using the utlity “ab”.
apxs -i -c moduleName.c (Installs and loads the module)
lsof: to dump socket connections open in solaris environment by the processes.
